Course Objectives:
- Introduction to the fundamentals of First Aid.
- Providing necessary help for the victims
Course Manner:
- Duration of the course is 20 hours spread across 5 days.
- Required manuals and workbooks will be provided for the participants.
- There will be both theoretical and practical aspects to the course.
- By the end of the course participants will be certified with certifications approved by (Kurdistan Regional Government – Engineers Union – and View Group Institute).
- The course is presented in the Kurdish language; it can also be presented in Arabic and English if required by the participants.
Course Contents:
- Understanding human anatomy and the functions of the main organs of the body.
- The fundamentals of general first aid.
- Artificial breathing of adult humans.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Sudden blockage of air passages and loss of consciousness.
- Chest pains.
- Seizure.
- General bleeding and bleeding of the stomach.
- General injuries, injury to the head and bleeding of the nose.
- Dislocation and breaking of bones.
- Burns.
- Passing out due to excessive expose to sun light.
- Freezing.
- Being bitten by poisonous animals.
- Drowning.
- Eye injuries.
