Course Objectives:

• Introduction to the fundamentals of First Aid.
• Providing necessary help for the victims

Course Manner:

• Duration of the course is 20 hours spread across 5 days.
• Required manuals and workbooks will be provided for the participants.
• There will be both theoretical and practical aspects to the course.
• By the end of the course participants will be certified with certifications approved by (Kurdistan Regional Government – Engineers Union – and View Group Institute).
• The course is presented in the Kurdish language; it can also be presented in Arabic and English if required by the participants.

Course Contents:

• Understanding human anatomy and the functions of the main organs of the body.
• The fundamentals of general first aid.
• Artificial breathing of adult humans.
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Sudden blockage of air passages and loss of consciousness.
• Chest pains.
• Seizure.
• General bleeding and bleeding of the stomach.
• General injuries, injury to the head and bleeding of the nose.
• Dislocation and breaking of bones.
• Burns.
• Passing out due to excessive expose to sun light.
• Freezing.
• Being bitten by poisonous animals.
• Drowning.
• Eye injuries.
