Course objectives:

Familiarizing participants with the use of (GPS Viva) instrument for surveying.

Course manner:

• Course duration is 8 hours spread across 4 days.
• Required manual and workbooks will be provided for the participants.
• By the end of the course participants will be certified with certifications approved by (Kurdistan Regional Government – Engineers Union – and View Group Institute).
•  The course will be presented in the Kurdish language.
• If participants propose a course specific type of GPS instrument, View group will certainly accept and prepare a special course for it.

Course content: 

• It’s advantageous for the participants to know the basics of (Total station) and (Civil 3D) program.
• Binding parts of (GPS) instrument.
• Creating (Job), connecting (Base) and (Rover) instruments.
• Site surveying.
• Transferring GPS instrument.
• Data transferring from GPS to computer.
• Data transferring from computer to GPS.
• Stakeout
